hihi
konbawa(good evening)...

hmmm.. first day of work...
what i think is that, it's REALI tiring...
but then, it's SURVIVABLE....
i guess i can pull through...
although the supervisor and senpais(seniors) seem kinda scary initially... and the atmosphere was kinda awkward initially...
but then but then but then, i still think i can survive...
and the climbing of metal shelves in a monkey-ish manner to get the stocks, well, i find it fun...
and i keep jumping to get down...
like a kid playing at the playground..
haha.. =P
well, today, saw Valerie while working...
she shopping i guess..
too bad the shop doesn't have the shoes she's looking for.. ~_~
then after that also saw Pei Ru and her mum..
out shopping i guess...
didn't expect to see them...
haha.. =P
but i guess it adds to the fun of this job...
shall gan gan ganbatte tomorrow also! =)

well, went blog-reading quite a bit recently..
SJ people de mostly..
and realised that, there's really a lot of different reactions with regards to FDC...
and then, i find stuff that really makes sense...

To the cadets(this applies to NCOs and sec ones too):
ok, i'm NOT trying to suck up to the ''higher-ups'' or what...
but, seriously, don't say last time FDC...
even me myself, as non-FDC,
i was told to come down for training EVERY SINGLE DAY...
even if it's called FDC TRAINING...
and you might think, what's the point of a non-FDC at a FDC TRAINING...
truth is, we're there,
just to fill up spaces...
why spaces had to be filled up??
because officers, trainers, they want to train the FDC squad properly...
a full squad is NECESSARY...
and frankly speaking,
FDC'06 trained like THERE'S NO TOMORROW...
what do i mean??
they started training MON TO SUN,
about 2-3 weeks before the comp???
well, there's definitely times when there are absentees...
but everyone is basically doing their best to avoid being absent...
and what i've heard, I TAKE THEM AS RUMOURS, is that some of you, kinda negative...
i understand, being told ''you suck'' every training is demoralising...
but, just because of that, some people had thought about poning trainings...
i dunno in the end, did you pon or not..
but having that thought itself, proves that you are really ''weak'' psychologically...
because, you simply CARE TOO MUCH ABOUT WHAT OTHERS SAY...
you didn't use the organ underneath your skull in this case..
that's what i can say..
because, when i'm told ''you suck'',
yes, i do get demoralised..
but after that i get angry..
and to vent my anger, what i do is,
i basically, purposely, put in my very best..
and do my very best..
and i defeat the person who made that comment easily..
without even having to waste my saliva to talk back..
BUTTTT... that doesn't mean that i'm telling you all to do things for the sake of other people...
NO!!!! do things for your own sake...
that's when you will really display your 100+++++++%....

then, there's mdm Wan Teng's post...
i find it INSPIRATIONAL...
why so??
cox she said about passion..
yes P-A-S-S-I-O-N...
and then people, when you join Uniformed Groups, you don't expected to be treated as Kings & Queens or Prince & Princesses....
i'm not saying that you have to be torured or what..
but seriously, if SJ is just about enjoyment and slacking, is there any point to it??/
right???

well, it may seem like crap to you...
but that's what i think and that's what i've said..
don't have to care bout it if you think i'm wrong...
it's my opinion...
but bear this in mind:
~No Pain, No Gain; No Gain, No Glory...
i learned this form FDC trainers...
as a SUBSTITUE for FDC'06 squad..
and i think it makes sense..

pain=the training, time, effort..
gain=what you learn from the pain above..
glory=in the end, did you becaome a better person?? in the end, are you proud of what you've done?? in the end, are you able to look back and feel no regrets about your actions?? if it's yes, then you've achieved the glory in you...

this is my personal definition of this quote..
yup.. that's bout it... =)
hope to see a stronger GESS SJAB...
a GESS SJAB of HONOUR, PRIDE and DIGNITY...
a GESS SJAB where the members don't treat it as ''just a CCA''...
a GESS SJAB where mambers come down for training, not just to get that attendance recorded, or just for CCA points, but really coming down for training to train...
a GESS SJAB which makes the members wanna come back, even during holidays, even after graduation...
a GESS SJAB whereby each and every member is able to look back at their secondary school life, and realise that they have tons of memorable experiences in it...

that's what i think my seniors and squadmates have given me..
maybe not fully, but some of the above listed here and there...
and i'm really glad i had that experience..
and i hope that you all can and will have it too...
not trying to be EMO here..

wells, talked a lot today..
gotta sleep le..
tomorrow still got work..
JA~
